How to communicate with imaptient father?
I am a mature student, ie am 24th I live in Pakistan. And hoping to start university this year. To investigate what I am interested in I have to go abroad to the UK because of personal circumstances and lack of public institutions offering the course. Being the second son and comes from a business family envioroment I have the responsibility to overlook the operation of my father's stock market Brock excel house and computer distribution company to ensure that at a time of emergency, if something were to happen with my father both me and my brother could be there to know what to do. But with a total lack of interest in both fields, I am willing to put in time to understand all bank account balance statements, etc., but am not sure whether it would it would be worth putting in a year or done by September this year to participate university.Cant communicate with my dad for helping me understand the required timeline based on the nature of the work. Please help!
Sit down and draw up a timetable and set goals for what you want to accomplish and then write down why. Be honest. Then ask your father if he will look at your goals and how you plan to accomplish them, and why tell him these are your honest feelings and career plan.
